Fear20 Artist Flapper_Jane Imagines What "Alien vs Predator" Could Have Looked Like!

We've all seen those Predator test scenes with Jean Claude Van Dam running around in a big red lobster suit and thought, "Oh man, that would've been a very different movie". What fewer people seem to be aware of is that the Alien we all know and love wasn't always intended to be the H.R. Giger masterpiece that it cam be be. Early concept art has recently been brought to our attention that shows a stubbier, more insect-like creature.

And that got us thinking... what would AvP be like if these concepts had been used? Find out after the jump.

{Video} HorrorClix: "Dark Circus" by Dane Cole (HrC Writing Contest Winner)

The winner of the first official Fear20 HorrorClix Writing Contest gets butchered as I test out a new mic, a new camera AND new editing software.

This video took much longer than I had anticipated, considering the length of the story. All of the new techniques and technology took some getting used to, and many hours of frustration were had. I hope it comes across as an improvement from my older videos that typically consisted of static images. I realize that the tablet microphone I used for most of this video is indeed inferior to the cell phone mic that I usually use. I'm considering investing in a professional quality PC microphone, but so far I have either failed to install every single mic I have ever bought, or none of them has actually sounded better than my phone.

Anyway, long live HorrorClix.

Today's Horror Choices 03/10/17 - I Hate Chuck Norris

Chuck Norris falls asleep on Elm Street. He wakes up 5 minutes later wearing a fedora.

"...."
Okay, so I hate Chuck Norris jokes. They're not even funny. He's not even that cool. Or, like, is that the point? Is it supposed to be funny because he's so corny and lame? I don't know. To me, Chuck Norris will always be that boring Texas asshole who I had to sit through for the last 2-5 minutes of his show as I waited for Monday Night Raw to come on when I was a kid. Ya know. The show with the cool Texas asshole.

That said, today is Chuck Norris' birthday, which by extension makes it the International Day of Awesomeness. At first, I thought Chuck Norris had nothing to do with the horror genre, but a quick google search alerted me to the existence of a little-known slasher/thriller flick by the name of Silent Rage, in which Walker must take on the ultimate serial killer. I think one of them is a robot or something?

Today's Horror Choices 05/17/16 - Just a Big Ass Closet Full of Pie Tins

Sorry I'm late with today's article. It's National Cherry Cobbler Day, and I couldn't put down my fork long enough to type anything until now. Once again, baked goods bring up Full Moon Entertainment's 2005 cheesecake classic, The Gingerdead Man. Aside from that, I think it's necessary to go a little abstract for this one. Rather than focus on cobbler itself, why not turn our attention to those gore-fests whose less fortunate characters end up looking like cherry cobbler, such as Street Trash, Dead Alive and... uh...

I tried, guys. Really.
Today is also National Pack Rat Day. This opens up a huge array of options. Any movie about a character who takes trophies will do; Predator 2, Silence of the Lambs, The Loved Ones, House of 1,000 Corpses or Wrestlemaniac will all make fine celebrations of those hoarding tendencies we all secretly have.

Also celebrated on May 17th is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, so do yourself a favor and check out Kevin Smith's Red State. It's not as bad as people say and it kinda makes you think. Plus it has a fantastic cast.
